About Linda's List

What these books have in common are their unforgettable characters and communities. These books cross generation gaps by having characters of differing ages struggle with self-transformation and the barriers of prejudice. Saying that all of these books are “classics” does not quite give them their due credit. They are whole worlds within themselves that offer up a mirror of our own.
